We make certification visible on every project through labelled installations and project compliance packs.
Our installations comply with Building Regulations Part B and are selected strictly in accordance with manufacturer’s tested systems and certification.
Key test standards we work to include:
- EN 1366 – Fire resistance tests for service installations (e.g., penetration and linear joint seals).
- BS 476 – Fire tests on building materials and structures.
- EN 13381 – Test methods for determining the contribution to fire resistance of structural members (intumescent coatings).
Where an exact test does not exist for site conditions, we obtain written engineering judgements/technical assessments from system manufacturers and record the rationale in the project pack.
- Competence & Training: CSCS, FPA courses and role-specific training logged for each operative.
- RAMS: Project-specific method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) issued and briefed.
- System Selection: Only tested/approved systems to suit substrate, service type and rating.
- On-Site Inspections: Supervisor checks and coordinated sign-offs with Principal Contractor.
- Photographic Evidence: Before/during/after photos and location references.
- Labels & Certificates: Unique installation IDs, labels, and third-party certification where applicable.
- Handover: O&M manuals and as-built packs with drawings, data sheets and compliance statements.
